Dark Horse Comics will release new collections of each of the series in 2023 featuring these stunning covers. In 1995, Miller and Darrow published The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot. In this series, two unlikely heroes attempt to save Japan from a monstrous reptilian creature.

This series follows an insurance investigator named Carl Seltz as he navigates his way through a dystopian Los Angeles only to discover some unsettling secrets about his true identity. The synopsis for Hard Boiled TPB reads, “Carl Seltz is a suburban insurance investigator, a loving husband and a devoted father. In a diseased urban slaughterhouse, Nixon is a berserk, homicidal tax collector who racks up mind-boggling body counts. It is the ultimate robot killing machine – the last hope for the future’s enslaved mechanical servants. All of them are the same psychotic entity. The cover was designed by Geof Darrow and Dave Stewart.”
